there were twenty years..

placebo-twenty years.
the first thing i remember about placebo was this weird sounding song that had a video with sarah michele gellar in it (she's yummy looking :D ) it was every me and every you and altough it sounded a bit off in my ear i liked the song. many yaers passed and placebo faded out of my mind. last year i was channel surfing on y tv when i stumbled upon another weird sounding song on mtv. it was song to say goodbye. hey, i said to myself, this is good, this guy has a cool voice. enter deni (for the hundreth time :p) she is a big placebo fan and she introduced me to more of their songs (ilya had a role in this too) then i went to the placebo concert in romania (again, courtesy of deni) and i liked it altough at that time i wasn't very much into them. some thing you just have to dicover by yourself and some time after the concert i truly discovered placebo and started liking their music a whole lot more since then. now about this particular song. it's one of my favourites. a few months ago i turned 21 and before my actual birthday this song came to mind, because i was obviuosly still twnty years old :p. was a little sad, not because i'm old (21 is not old, don't have those kind of issues) but because i wasnât little, and my girlfriend at the time wasnât tere (about 400 or so km away :p ) anyway, cool song..weird video. am i the only one who thinks molko looks creepy in this video? enjoy :)

aces wild, aces high :D

i absolutely love iron maiden so this will not be the last song from them on this blog. its hard to choose one to post but i know that whatever i'll choose it will kick ass :D. this song is awesome in so many ways: bruce's voice, those amazing guitar riffs, the fast tempo, cool video. churchill's speech at the beginning is pretty funny to me because of all the enumerating: hills, beaches, landing grunds.. next maybe he will say shops, schools, hospitals :p. once i saw a different version of this video on tv which featured eddie flying a plane and offing some nazi pilots, but alas i have yet to find that version on the net.

come sail away

this is a song that i like very much. it always lifts my mood. this song is played by styx in its original form but i haven't listened to that one yet. this is a version sang by eric cartman from south park (picture attached for those who aren't familiar with the character). i'm a big fan of south park and cartman is one of my favourite characters. plus this song is very nice and it tends to be both sweet and sad even when it's played by cartman in his weird voice. this is a song of hope from back when everything was very cheery for me. hope you enjoy it as much as i do. for the video i had several choices but i decided to go for this nice slideshow of ships. so..come sail away with eric cartman

thinking about friends

first post. you know, my business comunications teacher said that you should always start something mentioning others rather than yourself, as in don't say "me an my friend" but say "my friend and i". with this in mind i chose this particular video because it makes me think of a certain person i know. he is the one who recomended this in the first place and he also smokes marijuana. got treated to some weird stories about being high. the irony of it all is that after he started smoking he changed his mind about making mairjuana legal. he thinks it should stai illegal because some stupid people may die from this stuff:p. this song makes some good points along the way, plus i like the backround music. so here it is. my first video: lzy boy-underwear goes nside the pants
